This is a herbaceous perennial plant with creeping stems and oblong-ovate leaves. The pine uterus is found mainly in dry coniferous forests throughout Siberia, sometimes forming entire thickets. The pine uterus blooms in the first half of summer. It has small bell-shaped flowers, painted white with a greenish tint. The flowers are collected in a one-sided brush. The fruits are 4 - 6 mm wide and have the appearance of a spherical box. Fruit ripening occurs in August.
The chemical composition of boron uterus includes arbutin, hydroquinone, coumarins, vitamin C, resins, saponins, organic acids, as well as trace elements such as titanium, copper, zinc, manganese. A lot of tannins, bitter substances, tartaric and citric acids were found in the boron uterus.
The herb boron uterus is widely used in folk medicine to treat:
- gynecological diseases of an inflammatory nature,
- uterine fibroids,
- infertility,
- uterine bleeding,
- toxicoses,
- menstrual irregularities,
- adhesive processes,
- obstruction and inflammation of the tubes.
Borovaya uterus is used as a disinfectant for:
- inflammatory processes in the kidneys and bladder,
- for cystitis,
- pyelonephritis,
- with inflammation of the prostate gland,
- hemorrhoids,
- urinary incontinence in adults and children,
- acute purulent inflammation of the ear.
Most often, boron uterus is used in the form of water infusions and alcohol tinctures. Less commonly, it is used in the form of ointments and oil tinctures.
