1000 ml of preparation contain: Siberian pine nuts 100,0 g., ethyl alcohol 70% (ethanol) - before getting 1 liter of tincture.

Pharmacological action

Preparation has pronounced hepatoprotective effect, it reduces toxic liver damage, the development of steatosis in hepatocytes and fibrotic changes in liver parenchyma, inhibits destructive and stimulates repair processes in the liver. It has antioxidant and antihypoxic activity, which appears to underlie hepatoprotective action mechanism of the drug. Helps reduce liver damage associated with lipid disorders: inhibits the growth levels of cholesterol, triglycerides in the blood, increases the reduced content of high density lipoprotein cholesterol, prevents peroxidation atherogenic (apoβ-containing) lipoproteins.

Therapeutic indications

Toxic (medicinal) steatohepatitis, fatty degeneration of liver (second non-alcoholic steatohepatitis) in the phase of moderate and subsiding exacerbation (as a part of complex treatment).

Contraindications

Hypersensibility to the components of the preparation, pregnancy, lactation, not recommended to children up to 18 years.

With caution: Epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, brain diseases, alcoholism and other conditions in which intake of ethanol is not recommended.

Posology and method of administration

Adults apply per os: 20-40 drops two or three times a day 10-15 minutes before meals. Treatment course 3 weeks. Treatment course may be extended under the advice and supervision of a physician.

Undesirable effects

Allergic response is possible.

Overdose

Exceeding the recommended doses of preparation tend to cause headaches, sickness, vomiting. Treatment: symptomatic.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction

Simultaneous use of niacin, hypolipidemic preparations (cholesterol absorption inhibitors, fibrates) may reinforce hypolipidemic effect.

Special remarks

Preparation contains not less than 65% of ethanol. Single dose of preparation (20-40 drops) contains up to 0.44 gr. of absolute ethyl alcohol, maximum daily dose contains up to 1.32 gr. of absolute ethyl alcohol. Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities.

Form of issue

Tincture. In the glass bottle of 100 ml. in the cardboard packing with instruction inside.

Storage conditions

Keep in shadowed place, at temperature 15-25°С. Keep away from children.

Expire date

2 years from date of production. Do not use preparation if the expiry date has passed.
