Active ingredients:

• Echinacea purpurea herb 23.2 g
• Birch leaves 6.6 g
• Licorice roots 5.8 g
• Rosehip cinnamon fruits 11.2 g

Excipients: sucrose 50.0 g, citric acid 0.38 g, elixir color 7.5 g, ethyl alcohol 95% (ethanol) 380.0 ml, purified water up to 1000 ml.

Description

Transparent or opalescent brown liquid with an aromatic odor. Precipitation is allowed.

pharmachologic effect

It has an immunostimulating effect associated with increased functional activity of the B-cell component of immunity, namely antibody formation; increases the proliferative activity of spleen lymphocytes and the production of interleukin-2; stimulates cellular and humoral factors of nonspecific resistance of the body; has anti-inflammatory, as well as antihypoxic and antioxidant activity; helps increase the body's resistance to physical activity.

Indications for use

In complex therapy of patients with frequently recurrent bacterial and fungal infections - chronic bronchitis, chronic furunculosis, oropharyngeal candidiasis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug and plants of the Asteraceae family; pregnancy, breastfeeding period, age up to 18 years, progressive systemic diseases (tuberculosis, leukemia, leukemia, multiple sclerosis), AIDS and HIV infection, autoimmune diseases.

Directions for use and doses

It is prescribed orally for adults, 2 teaspoons diluted in 100 ml of water, 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Duration of treatment is 10 days. Increasing the duration and conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

The drug contains 35-38% ethanol.

You should not take medications containing Echinacea for more than 8 weeks.

The drug contains sugar (a single dose contains 0.5 g of sugar, a daily dose – 1.5 g), which should be taken into account by patients with diabetes.

Release form

Elixir for oral administration.
100, 200 or 250 ml in glass bottles for food liquids with a screw neck. Bottles are sealed hermetically with metal roll-up caps with gaskets or plastic screw caps. Labels with a sticky backing are applied to the bottles.
Each bottle, along with instructions for use, is placed in a cardboard pack. It is allowed to print instructions for use on the pack. Packaging of bottles without packs is allowed, provided that the instructions for use are printed on the label.

Storage conditions

At a temperature of +15 to 25°C, out of the reach of children.

Best before date

2 years.
Do not use after the expiration date stated on the package.
