Composition

1000 ml of elixir contain:
Active substances

Siberian pine nuts 54,0 g., fruits of crataegus 4,0 g., aronia melanocarpa fruits 2,0 g., birch buds 1,5 g., roots and rhizomes of eleutherococcus 1,0 g., flowers of crataegus 0,5 g.

Pharmaceutical excipients

Natural honey 50,0 g., sucrose 22,7 g., ethyl alcohol 95% 421,0 ml., purified water < 1000 ml.

Description

Brown colored smelling liquid. Precipitate is allowed.

Pharmacological action

Preparation has pronounced general strengthening effect; increases exercise performance, improves metabolic processes.

Therapeutic indications

Apply at astheno-vegetative syndrome, during period of convalescence after injuries of parenchymatous organs.

Contraindications

Hypersensibility to the components of the preparation, acute cardiovascular collapse and renal failure, serious liver diseases, alcoholism, craniocerebral trauma, brain diseases, saccharase-isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, children up to 18 years. Preparation is forbidden during pregnancy and breast-feeding period.

Therapeutic indications

Adults apply per os: 2-3 teaspoons (5-10 ml.), dissolve in 100 ml. of water. Apply two times a day 10-15 minutes before meals. Treatment course 5-7 days. Treatment course may be extended to 2-3 weeks under the advice and supervision of a physician. Shake before use.

Undesirable effects

Allergic response is possible. If any other side effects do occur, you should consult a doctor.

Overdosage

Exceeding the recommended doses of preparation tend to cause headaches, sickness, vomiting.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction

Simultaneous use of niacin, hypolipidemic preparations (cholesterol absorption inhibitors, fibrates) may reinforce hypolipidemic effect. If you take any other medicines check with a doctor that they are safe to take with elixir «Kedrovit».

Special remarks

Maximum single dose contains 0,34 g. sucrose (is equal to 0,3 bread units (XE)), maximum daily dose contains 0,68 g. sucrose (is equal to 0,68 bread units (XE)). Preparation contains not less than 37% of ethyl alcohol. Maximum single dose contains 5,9 g. absolute ethyl alcohol, maximum daily dose contains 11,97 g. absolute ethyl alcohol.
