The leaves of the common lingonberry (Folia Vaccina vitis-idaea) contain up to 9% phenolic glycosides (arbutin), vaccinin, lycopene, hydroquinone, ursolic, tartaric, gallic, quinic and ellagic acids; tannin, hyperoside (hyperin), triterpenoids, catechins, tannins, flavonoids. Up to 30% fatty oil containing glycerides of linoleic and linolenic acids was found in the seeds. In terms of carotene content, lingonberries are superior to cranberries, lemons, pears, apples, grapes and blueberries. Lingonberries also have the highest content of vitamin B2. All berries of the lingonberry family are rich in copper. Dry lingonberry leaves are used as a tea substitute, the so-called “Lingonberry tea”. Lingonberry leaves, along with rose hips and raspberry leaves, are part of restorative teas. In the North, a tonic drink is made from lingonberry leaves.

For adults, pour 1 filter bag (1.5 g) or 1 teaspoon of scattering (1.5 g) with
1 glass (200 ml) of boiling water, leave for 10-15 minutes, squeeze, bring the volume of the resulting infusion with boiled water to 200 ml . Take the infusion 1 tablespoon (15 ml) 3-4 times a day with meals.
If necessary, the dose can be repeated after a month.
